Hello GHS Bulldogs,

We are excited to start planning for the next school year! The course request process will require you to select your courses for next year (2021 - 2022), which builds your student schedule. You will complete this process in your WIN class, but you may also access the same information here.

Here you can find documents and information to help you with this process. Please have the steps complete by Friday, April 9.

Step 1 (Watch the video):

Step 2 (Map out Your Credits):

Map out your credits from your SIS Student Portal (as explained in the presentation and video) so you know what credits you need for graduation and which courses to request for next year.

Please click here to view the GHS Credit Check worksheet. This document can assist you in mapping out your credits towards graduation. You can access your credit history through your SIS Student Portal. Once you enter your courses, click "Save As" and save it under your name on your drive. This will help you select courses for next year.

Step 3 (Complete the Course Request Form).

Now that you know what you credits you have already completed and what credits you still need to complete, it is time to select your classes for next year.

Please use the appropriate form below to document your classes/courses for next year. You will either turn this form into your WIN teacher or upload it as an assignment into your WIN Canvas class. You will enter 7.0 credits of courses. You will also be enrolled in WIN next year, for a total of 8.0 credits.

Please access the on-line course catalog (CEPG) to find information on all GHS courses and programs available to you. Please make certain you have met the prerequisites that are required for a course before selecting the course. Click here to access the: GHS Career and Educational Planning Guide (CEPG). It is IMPORTANT for you to enter 2.0 credits of alternate electives in the event that one of your elective courses doesn't fit in your schedule. We will look at your alternates for other courses to schedule for next year if there is a conflict in scheduling your courses.

Once your form is complete, save it with your name as the title to your drive and upload it to your WIN Canvas class or turn in a paper copy to your WIN teacher.

Seniors requesting mid year completion, must read the information on this page and complete the included form: Senior Mid Year Completer.

Step 4 (Enter the Courses from you Course Request Form into SIS Student Portal).

The final step is for you to use the form you completed from above to enter your courses into your SIS Student Portal. Please access the directions to do that here: Link to information for GHS Course Request Information for 2021.pdf ^New*Please make certain under "Academic Year" (in the top right corner), the drop down is set to "2021 - 2022".

Remember, you will enter 7.0 credits of courses.

Important Note: The video states to select 2020 -2021 for the Academic Year; however that had to be updated due to software issues and now the "Academic Year" must state "2021 - 2022".

If you need to delete a course you added, you would just click "Delete" under Actions on the far right side.

Great job! You have completed all the steps to select courses for next year.

Preliminary schedules will be available at the latest during the enrollment process, prior to the start of next school year.
